Cherry Parfait Rose, What a Beauty! A 2003 AARS Winner

I found this beauty in several stages of bloom this morning.  Captured a few shots to share.

The bud starts out with a pretty lime color inside then opens to white.

  1. What a gorgeous rose. I've not seen many that start with that lime blush of color on the petals. In full bloom it's just lovely with the pink-edging.

  2. Oh wow...that is such a beauty!

I just wanted to pop in to tell you that we have strawberries! We picked 5 yesterday. They are small, but very tasty! This kids were excited. I was too. My beets continue to sprout up...I think it's almost time to transplant them. I also need to put some tomato plants into the ground that a friend gave me. My cauliflower has shot up, but I don't see anything starting anywhere in the center of the leaves. My cat has been digging in the garden I see. :( My herbs are so abundant! They have almost filled the pot I transplanted them too and are so beautiful. I snipped some and put them in my meatless, lentil burgers this weekend.

Thank you for checking in on me Carla! I hope you are having a wonderful day! The weather has been fantastic.

  3. Cherry Parfait lives in my Rose Garden! One of my favorites. I'm so jealous that yours is in bloom. Mine has leaves now! Our weather is way behind in the sunshine department.
