Our onions a finally in. Everything is late this year because of the rain and cooler temperatures. No gophers here. Thank you so much for your kind comments and sharing recipes. I checked out your recipe blog and decided that you should do a cook book!
ReplyDeleteOh my a cookbook, that would be so fun. I need to add some more recipes to my cooking blog but the garden has kept me so busy this year! Thank you for your confidence in me!
DeleteHard to believe you are at that stage all ready! Our onion plants are heading to the thinning stage - fresh young green onions for omelets! But it will be mid to late September before any get pulled for winter keeping. Our "summer" has just begun.
ReplyDeleteThey really came in early for us this year, crazy weather! We didn't really have a winter this year so the plants are coming in really early. Could be a good thing but also could be very bad for the rest of the 'real' summer. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI'm sorry about your gophers. Your onions look great! I planted yellow, red and white onion sets and shallots. We'll see how they do this year. It's nice you're able to harvest early!
ReplyDeletePriscilla, not sure how I missed your comment but I am sorry to be so late in my response. I need to get over to your blog and see what you are up to.
DeleteThank you for stopping by and taking the time to drop me a note.
