Come spend some time with me in my garden...
I gaze upon the garden.
My heart grown peaceful.
From its spirit comes my will.
From its color comes my being.
To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable; and wealthy, not rich; to study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly...to listen to stars and buds, to babes, and sages, with open heart; await occasions, hurry never...this is my symphony.
~William Henry Channing
Oh you and your sunshine and blue sky. It will be quite a while before we see that sort of thing. Brrrrrrr!
ReplyDeleteWell, someone has to have it! LOL
DeleteSee you are looking out toward my herb garden, Carla! I know you live in a beautiful place! Thanks for sharing it with us! xo
ReplyDeleteI think we both have it pretty good Nancy. We don't get that many clouds in the morning so I just had to capture them while they were here. Most days are just clear, blue skies.
DeletePretty sunrise. It will be a good day. Any rain?
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, we did finally get some rain yesterday and also a couple of light showers this morning. I doubt that we got more than 1/2 total though. At least it was enough to clean the plants of dust.
