Sunset After the Storm

A few pictures of last night sunset. It was a beauty.

  1. I'm envious, you actually had rain! We're still waiting for our first showers. What an odd couple of weeks in California. A blistering heatwave, then thunder showers...although we only had the heatwave. We did actually see a lovely pink sunset this evening though. We don't see many as we're buried down in a canyon, but it was nothing compared to this. Such beautiful intense colors, especially in the first two shots.

  2. Those are beautiful shots! The colors of the sky is ever changing... Your shots consist of the bigger picture. Mine are of the micro picture. You look up. I look down to take photos. :) Btw, you mentioned you need quicker clicks for moths and butterflies. For me. it's not about quicker clicks. I missed many beautiful ones that I wish to take. I only manage to capture those who are not frighten of me. The Wedding Bells post consist of many small creatures tying the knot. I thought you might have missed them if you had not click the Entrance. :)

  3. Hi,

I found you through another site and I just thought I would stop in and say hello. I am a Southern California gardener too...but I live in a hot, interior valley, what I wouldn't give for a bit of your marine influenced climate.(-: You have a lovely blog. Take care and happy gardening!

Thank you for taking time to visit my blog, I love hearing from you, stay as long as you like, Carla
