Summer in Southern California, Could it be?

I will be needing this hat today. It is 85 degrees here today! I had my coffee on the patio in my flipflops in a light robe this morning.  The kitties at my feet basking in the morning sunlight. It's a good day to be alive!
Grapefruits are heavy with blossoms and fruit.  We had navel oranges for breakfast picked fresh from the tree.

Hardworking Christmas cactus still blooming.

Quail nesting with her first blue egg!

  1. I'm here in So Cal too and it certainly was a hot one! We had our fans going and I wore shorts and flip flops also. Weird how quickly it changes!!!

  2. 85 degrees is almost beyond my comprehension right now. That quail planter is very nice.

  5. Oh Carla!! Lucky you!!! Though 85 is a bit hot for me . . . I could stand it I think!! Snow and ice as far as the eye can see here with temps in the minuses and teens. Maybe 29 today!! Your grapefruit looks amazing. I like you hat too! Lovely post!
