I'm Still Here!

I am still here, but have been very busy with a few projects.  The garden is flourishing!  I have 14 tomato plants that I planted in March/April and we planted 8 or 9 more last weekend.  I will update my blog with pictures after the 12th.  Things will be back to normal then and I can start playing in the dirt with the rest of you.

Thanks to all of you who have been still watching my blog.

See you all very soon,
Carla

  3. Have a nice break. It's a time of year when the garden beckons more than the computer.

Well I spent yesterday getting the tomato plants tied up and fertilized. I think I will take some photos today to post to the blog.

    Thanks for stopping by.

  7. Hi Carla. Lucky you for being able to plant your tomatoes as early as March! As you know we moved from California to Idaho. It has been rainy here and barely starting to warm up. I didn't get to transplant my veggie seedlings I grew from seed until 2nd week of June. I was told we don't get tomatoes until September. I'm also waiting for my squash and green beans. My potatoes and strawberries are doing great. I can't wait to see your harvest. I remember how beautiful it was last year! :)

  8. Hi Priscilla! So good to hear from you. I bet you are having fun planning your new garden in your knew "digs". When I am pulling up tomatoes you will be harvesting! I know the growing season is shorter in your area but I think you get to grow everything at once which is nice but a lot more work! Are you planning on canning or freezing this year?
