Beautiful flower. Never heard of it before. I'll have to look for it at our nursery. Salpiglossi. Hm. What a name! Can't wait to see your garden tour pics!
ReplyDeleteHi Resa, it is also called Painted Tongue.

ReplyDeleteJust went to the Encinitas garden site and what a surprise to see a picture of my old backyard! I had a garden where they have added a pool and pool house. I used the studio for sewing and crafts. It's an awesome place.
Tere, was it the house with the artist studio?
ReplyDeleteYes but when I lived there it was divided by a wall and part was a studio and the other was a garden/workshed/storage. It was much more rustic and closer to the original design. There was even a corral in the front lot!
