I took some photographs on Wednesday and am just getting to posting them to my blog. My iris are coming in now; the blues and purples are budding but so far no blooms have opened. I will share the beauty of the peach, salmon and yellow with you for now.
Peachy Orange Iris in the background
Cistus (rockrose) has been blooming for several weeks, looks beautiful in the butterfly garden.
Of course it wouldn't be my blog if I didn't show off my Madarense Geraniums!
Lavenders on the South Wall
Nutmeg Scented Geranium came up on its own, see it hanging over the wall?

Heartsease
There is a flower I wish to wear,
But not until first worn by you—
Heartsease—of all earth’s flowers most rare;
Bring it; and bring enough for two.

Such lovely flowers! That peachy Iris is just gorgeous and so is your Geranium. Loved your Pelargoniums and a pot of Violas always brings a smile to my face.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy those showers of rain. If only I'd known you would like rain ... we've had so much of it I wouldn't have minded wishing it would have headed your way instead!
Bernie, I am tired of the rain but I know the plants are loving it. I need to get out to work but with the ground this wet and the cold temperatures I have stayed in most days this week.
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking! The lavender cascading over the wall is a sight to behold -
ReplyDeleteOur snow is going and we could use some nice gentle rains to wash everything clean...
Taylorsoutback,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. Hope you see some gentle rains soon and warm ones!
Such lovely flowers, especially the iris.
ReplyDeleteHi Ann,
ReplyDeletethank you for stopping by. The garden is really taking off now with all the spring rains we have had. I should have blue Iris blooming this week.
Thank you so much for sharing your garden with us who live in Not so "southern" CA. Spring is just peeking it's head out here in Bishop, CA.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to my garden Resa. I love Bishop, we used to go to Fish Camp with my brother and also Convict Lake camping. Love the area.
